The Center on Municipal Government Performance of the National Center for Civic Innovation (NCCI), an affiliate of the Fund for the City of New York, announces its new Government Performance Reporting Trailblazer Grant Program to encourage governments to involve the public in their performance measurement and reporting process and produce more accessible and engaging reports.

Grantees will be part of a small but growing cadre of governments and government managers who are helping to advance the innovations in citizen-informed performance measurement and reporting. Grantees will be able to share their experiences and ideas and support one another in this trailblazing work through a dedicated listserv, expense-paid national meetings, and a mentor matching program with grantees from the 2003-2006 Demonstration Grant Program upon which this new program builds. Successful grantees will receive national recognition for their work, will be featured in NCCI articles and presentations and will be identified as innovators and trailblazers in performance measurement and reporting.
