[FCNY] STREAMLINING SYSTEMS: INSTITUTE FOR COLLABORATIVE PLANNING

The Institute for Collaborative Planning (ICP) is a hub for exploring and applying highly developed methodologies to multifaceted citywide initiatives. The Institute engages interconnected groups in meaningful practices for communication and decision-making towards common goals.

The methodology of choice for ICP, Real Time Strategic Change, is built on the philosophy that solutions are derived from simultaneous planning and implementation of strategies created from the participation of all groups affected by the issue. ICP successfully applied this strategy in partnership with New York City government during the reemergence of the TB epidemic of 1991.
