New York City is arguably the design capital of the world, yet a large percentage of nonprofits operating in this city lack the time or resources to invest in their branding material. Well-designed materials persuasively communicate an organization's mission, enhance professional appearance, and increase the potential for fundraising.

The FCNY Design Studio, a not for profit design studio, gathers motivated students from some of New York 's best design schools to apply their academic training to real-life design challenges. Under the guidance of the Fund's graphic designer, interns work with nonprofit organizations on design projects ranging from logos to annual reports, newsletters and webdesign. The interns follow their projects through all stages, and leave the program equipped for future design work independent of supervision.
