• 2 Minutes

“And it is exactly at the times when we say controversy, challenge, scarcity is when we actually see some of the most interesting, innovative things happen. A collective is what is going to keep this city as healthy and as vibrant as it should be.”

— Lisette Nieves, President, Fund for the City of New York

“The concern is making sure that the opportunities for the generations after us are equal to, or more so than the opportunities we had—that government and the public sector, the nonprofit sector, and the private sector are all doing their part…”

— Aldrin Bonilla, Executive Vice President, FCNY

✨ The Fund for the City of New York’s 2025 Innovation Across Silos Conference convened changemakers from across sectors to tackle the most pressing issues facing our city. Through powerful panels, collaborative workshops, and honest dialogue, participants identified new ways to break down barriers, rethink systems, and co-create solutions rooted in equity, resilience, and community voice.

The conference wasn’t just about ideas—it was about action, accountability, and building a future that works for all New Yorkers.

A special thank you to our NYC Champion Awardees, Dr. Fritz François and Maria Hinojosa, for sharing their wisdom, truth, and lived experience. Their words deeply resonated and helped set the tone for a day of purpose-driven dialogue.
