About Lucria Ortiz
Lucria Ortiz is a visionary leader whose career spans over 20 years across non-profit, government, and legal sectors. She is known for her strategic approach to organizational innovation and growth, especially in programs addressing poverty, criminal justice, youth development, and workforce development. Prior to OppNet Lucria worked a decade in the YMCA serving various communities in New York and New Jersey. As the former CEO of the Yonkers Family YMCA, she secured significant funding for programming and facility renovation, showcasing her exceptional fundraising capabilities and her commitment to community empowerment.
As a steadfast advocate for marginalized communities, Lucria has dedicated her career to fostering equity and inclusion. Her work extends beyond organizational leadership to training and coaching on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies, making her a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator. With Lucria at the helm, OppNet is poised to expand its impactful mission of providing underrepresented students with pathways to college and career success.
