Bio

Jhanvi Solanki is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the City University of New York School of Public Health and Health Policy, specializing in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Karnavati University, where she gained extensive clinical experience in the field and developed a deep-rooted passion for for public health. Jhanvi’s academic and research interests lie at the intersection of public health, urban planning, and community development, with a strong focus on social determinants of health and health equity. Her hands-on experience in the field includes working as a dental intern, consultant, and public health intern, during which she implemented wellness seminars, organized dental camps, and developed policy strategies for national HIV guidelines. Jhanvi’s mission is to integrate public health principles into urban planning to create sustainable, healthy, and inclusive urban spaces. Her commitment to community service extends to her role as a volunteer for Special Olympics Bharat, where she assisted in oral health screenings for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities, setting grounds for a Guinness Record. She aims to address health disparities through community planning and policy development, ultimately fostering optimal population health and well-being.
