Andrew Walrond is the Vice President of Loan Programs at the Fund for the City of New York. He manages the day to day lending to nonprofits awaiting city, state, federal, or foundation payments. He also works in partnership with the Mellon Foundation to provide capital bridge financing to art groups and with the Mayor’s Office to provide emergency funding to nonprofits with pending city contracts. Under his leadership, the Cash Flow Loan Program has lent a record breaking $1.4 billion in cash flow loans to nonprofit and community based organizations. Each year, the loan program provides financial support to over 300 unique organizations. He has a Bachelor of Science from UMASS Boston and is a Leadership fellow of the Coro New York Leadership Center. In 2022, he was selected as one of New York’s 100 most outstanding corporate citizens by City & State New York. Prior to joining the Fund in 1995, Andrew worked in various capacities in health and human service organizations.
